Use

FelxiNOOD is a recessed trap in white PP. It can replace the white water trap plumbing no. 153448-516 or the gray water trap plumbing no. 153453-516 in the following drains: 153445-953 - 153445-956 - 153446-953 - 153447-965 - 153451-953 - 153451-956 and also fits most of the old MaxiFlex 2000 floor drains for vinyl floors etc. VA-approved.

The FlexiNood© trap is made of PP plastic and constructed as a purse trap with submersible inlet pipe, but unlike a regular water trap, the bowl is loosely attached to the inlet pipe using a stainless spring, which is dimensioned so that the trap is closed when no water flows.
When water runs to the drain, the weight of the water will push the bottom downwards and open the trap. When no water runs to the floor drain, the spring will move the lower part back to the top position, thereby closing and sealing the trap.
